Having a number of men flocking you in pursuit for you as a sexual partner can be appealing. This can make you feel hot, sexy and wanted not just by one person but by a number. This in turn will make you feel recognized and appreciated by those falling for you. However, in as much as the feeling to have a number of men following you is appealing, there will be some question marks somewhere if you realize that you are not able to sustain a relationship for a long time. Today, many women want long term relationships and here we will look at some of the reasons why women want long term relationships.
Firstly, it is fulfilling for a woman to know that she is able to sustain a relationship for a long time. It is fulfilling in that, such a woman will take it that she has it all that makes her man happy and satisfied enough not to stray and look for other women. The society also favors a woman who is able to sustain a relationship and sees one who gets from one relationship to another as a cheap slut. For these reason many women will stay in relationships to avoid the embarrassment and branding of names by the society.
Another reason why women want long term relationships is because they do not want to deal with the drama that men expose them to. The drama can be like feeling pressured to lose weight to look sexy, dress to show off, cheating and other things that make women feel bad about themselves. Women who are in relationships in which their partners are willing to be honest with them and not manipulate them will be in the relationship as long as it can take.
Thirdly there are women who want long term relationships just for the security of their future. For instance, a woman will want to get into a long term relationship not because she has no other alternatives but because with this man the future looks promising. All other factors kept constant , many women actually get into long term relationships if they see a secured future. This can be in terms of finances or emotions.
Lastly, unlike the majority of men who take sex and dating casually, women hold special importance when it comes to sexing and being in a serious sexual relationship. Many women value sex and keep it almost as sacred, however, for men this is not such a big deal.
In as much as many women prefer and want long term relationships, not all women advocate for this. Therefore, it does not mean that every woman you meet and start something with will want you around for that long. Today, there are even woman whose business with a man can be accomplished with a “one touch”. The reasons why women want long term relationships may vary but many of them do this to secure their futures and avoid being branded names by the otherwise unforgiving society.
